Family Support Coordinator
The Cotting School
Pam joined the Institute several years ago as a member of the family faculty. During her time at IPEP, she has also joined the psychosocial faculty. In both roles, Pam brings her own dual perspective as both a clinical psychologist and the mother of a child with disabilities to the process. With her faculty colleagues, she contributes to developing curricula and facilitating IPEP workshops.

Pam holds the position of Coordinator of Family Support Services at the Cotting School in Lexington, MA. Cotting is a day school for students with a diverse range of cognitive disabilities, physical challenges, communication disorders, and complex medical conditions, ages 3 through 22. Through sharing information and nurturing connections, she pursues the goal of establishing a safe, reliable, and empowering community for families raising children with disabilities.
Pam came to Cotting after working in private practice as a Clinical Psychologist in the Boston area for a number of years. An important focus of her work centered on understanding the components of individual and family resilience in the face of serious illness, disability, and other forms of trauma.
